"I believe Kumon is the reason why my maths has improved, and without it I wouldn't have achieved an A in my GCSE maths and wouldn't have even attempted A-level!"
Faye Liversage (aged 17), Kumon maths completer

Meet the Instructor

Sarah Nutchey

Sarah taught as a full time maths teacher for 7 years in two schools in the Bristol area, before retraining as a Kumon Instructor. "It is one of the best things I have ever done. I love it!" says Sarah. "Working with students who want to learn, and their parents, is a privilege."

In 1998 Sarah opened a Kumon centre in Almondsbury. A year later the leisure centre opened in Bradley Stoke and Sarah quickly saw the potential of moving to such a great venue. The Bradley Stoke Kumon class has been there ever since. She has helped hundreds of students raise their achievement levels, and gain confidence in both mathematics and English.

Sarah has recently joined the ranks of Kumon parents, when her eldest son started the program. She is now experiencing all the challenges that entails and gained a newfound respect for the parents of the students in her class! Her 2 young boys now study both subjects, so she fully understands the commitment required!

Sarah graduated from Cardiff University with a 2.1 degree in Mathematics. She then gained her PGCE from Bristol University.

In her spare time, Sarah is very keen to keep fit. She also helps out at her own children's school on a regular basis.
