Meet the Instructor

I have worked in the past at Glasgow University doing research and more recently at JP Morgan as an Applications Developer.

 

In 2008 I was at a stage in my life where I felt the need to do something for myself. My children then were aged 13, 11 and 3 and soon my youngest would be settled in school life. I needed to do something that would not affect my children and would still allow me to pick them up from school.

 

My children were then at an age where I have noticed that they needed supplementary help with English and Maths and I started to investigate Kumon. I felt like my dream job had been created for me. I could help children with their learning and be confident that the method I was using was solid with a proven track record.

 

As a Kumon Instructor I am able to help children realise their potential without them feeling pressurised. They are able to reach their potential by learning in an individualised manner, which is ability based and not age based. Everyone's needs are different and Kumon allows me to tailor each programme for each child.

 

I want my children to have the opportunity to realise their potential in maths and English and as the Giffnock Kumon instructor I will hopefully be able to help your children realise their potential too. I look forward to working with you and your children.
