About the centre

Our classroom is divided into three sections:

Dependent Area - Every new student sits in this area. In this area children work under close supervision whilst developing study skills. Children will come to the centre at an agreed time.

 

Semi Dependent Area - Children move to this area once they can demonstrate that they can work without close supervision. The children are still being monitored but they are being introduced to working independently. They can start coming to the centre at any time.

 

Independent Area - We aim for all children to develop into independent learners through Kumon study. Within this area children have input in how the work is set. They are encouraged to mark and record their work.
