We have had a fantastic year so far and have settled well into the new commercial premises which I am sure that we are all finding far more comfortable and warm than the previous venue.
The children have engaged well with their new routine and are making good use of the supplementary areas where they regularly record their achievements on the number board and have their multiplication tables tested. English students have the opportunity to do their oral reading with a Class Assistant or the Instructor at least once a week, and we are tracking their progress with regard to fluency, expression and comprehension.
A lot of the children have already taken their level tests and received certificates and feedback, and we have many more to do before the summer is over. If you take a test you will always be given detailed feedback and should always receive it at the following session, so keep an eye out for the A5 feedback sheets.
The Kumon library has been a great success which is excellent news, and a lot of students have borrowed the books already. Please remember that they are there for everyone to use and so try to leave the shelves tidy, and return the books when you have finished reading them. I would love for you to write me a short piece about the book so that others can see if they might like to read it, and if you are happy for me to I can add a few of the reports in the newsletters on here on the website.
