The Kumon Hinckley Study Centre offers the Kumon Maths and English Study Programmes, which aim to nurture the potential in every child, regardless of age or ability, and foster a genuine love for learning. Through the personalised programs, which are tailored to each child’s individual abilities, students can establish solid learning foundations. These programs not only enhance maths and English skills, but also help children to cultivate transferable abilities that contribute to success across all academic subjects.
At Kumon, children learn through guided practice with example questions on our worksheets. This approach goes beyond traditional tuition, promoting independence and self-learning skills. Unlike the school curriculum, Kumon work is assigned based on individual ability, allowing learners to address any gaps in their foundational knowledge and even work ahead of their grade level.
Your local Kumon Instructor will assess your child to determine the optimal starting point in the program. Through consistent daily practice and up to twice-weekly study centre visits, students will build self-confidence and develop crucial skills step by step.
