Kumon to showcase new schools initiative at the Education Show


Leading education provides Kumon Educational UK will be exhibiting at The Education Show 2010 which is taking place between 4th and 6th March 2010 at the NEC in Birmingham. This prestigious show will provide the opportunity for Kumon to showcase their new Education Development programme, the Kumon in Schools initiative.

 

Kumon provides individualised study programmes in maths and English, designed to help children of all ages and abilities to fulfil their potential. Currently, Kumon offers their programmes in after school study centres and currently have more than 58,000 students studying at over 600 centres across the UK and Ireland.

 

The Kumon in Schools initiative offers a new service to schools and students whereby Kumon can reach even more students helping them to build independent learning skills that will assist them in many different ways throughout school and life.

 

Kumon works in partnership with schools, teachers and Headteachers to implement the Kumon maths and English programmes within the school environment. Kumon complements the curriculum and builds confidence and develops independent study skills for any child of any ability.

Throughout the exhibition Kumon will be running a numberboard challenge where delegates can play against their colleagues and peers in a friendly competition to win a digital camera.
