About this centre

The Kumon Maths and English Study Programmes offer what traditional tuition gives to your child and more. Kumon goes one step further by helping each child develop self-learning skills, enabling them to tackle challenging work without reliance on a teacher. Our aim is to help any child of any ability to progress and develop a curiosity and love for learning.

Your local Instructor will set work for your child at just the right level, enabling them to build confidence in their abilities and progress their maths and English skills in small, manageable steps through daily study. They will visit their local study centre twice a week for sessions with their Instructor. This allows the Instructor to tailor and adapt each child’s study plan to their abilities, through observing their progress and fluency at each level. Our study programmes are individualised to each child to help them establish strong learning foundations and a positive learning experience, to build skills and confidence for their future.

My name is Sarah Brown and I am the Instructor at the Leamington Spa Study Centre. I have a passion for learning, and feel that a good education is the key in today's society. Hard work, determination and the importance of education have been instilled in me from a young age.

I joined Kumon in 2012 as an Area Manager in Birmingham. During my time, I worked at the Harborne Study Centre, instructing students of a variety of ages and abilities. This experience truly highlighted the benefits of the Kumon programmes for all children. I also saw the wider benefits of daily Kumon study; confident, happy, disciplined individuals, who enjoy a challenge and have great life ambitions. I felt immensely proud of what all my students achieved, and admired their hard work and dedication. All these reasons inspired me to take on my own study centre.

At the Leamington Spa Study Centre, I strive to offer the best Kumon experience for every student. I have a team of 14 class assistants who have great Kumon knowledge. All assistants have had thorough training, and many hold A-levels, degrees and masters in maths and English. They are all equipped to guide students to achieve great work and study skills.
