Welcome to the Abingdon study centre which has been providing after-school tuition in maths since December 1999 and in English from June 2002. The majority of our students live in Abingdon or the surrounding villages and attend local schools, although a few travel from further away.
Students typically attend the centre once a week and spend 30-45 minutes with us if they are studying one subject or about an hour if they are dual subject. Most of our students are aged between 4 and 16 and we cater for all abilities. Our centre is diverse with students from a range of ethnic backgrounds.
Kumon study will not only help your child with their core maths or English skills but will also boost their confidence, help them develop good study skills and improve their concentration. Most students stay with us for about 2 years but a few become long term students and are able to benefit from studying the higher levels of the programmes. Of these, four students have so far completed to the end of Level L in the maths programme – a fantastic achievement.
