"I believe Kumon is the reason why my maths has improved, and without it I wouldn't have achieved an A in my GCSE maths and wouldn't have even attempted A-level!"

The Allerton Kumon Study Centre was established in February 2007 and is currently helping around 300 students to achieve their full potential in English and maths. The centre is conveniently located just a couple of minutes from Allerton Road with good parking and accessibility for wheelchairs.

Classes are run three times a week and students are encouraged to attend two
sessions. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed with students receiving
individual attention from Christine, the Instructor, and her staff of 16
assistants. The Saturday class is held at a different venue: Allerton United
Reformed Church Hall, Mather Avenue (corner of Booker Avenue), Liverpool, L18 9TG.

At each class students complete their worksheets for that day, a child studying
one subject will be at the centre for approximately 30 minutes, a dual-subject
student for around 45 minutes. The Allerton centre is a drop-in centre so you
can arrive at a time convenient for you and your child.

Currently the youngest students at the centre are pre-schoolers and the eldest is in year 11 with the Allerton centre currently helping a significant number of secondary school students proving that it is never too late to start the Kumon programmes!

The benefits of Kumon are frequently recognised by parents and children alike. One of the highlights as an Instructor is when students come in to tell us that they've been moved up a set or achieved a higher grade than their target or, on one occasion, beaten three of their teachers in a times tables competition!
