The study centre was established in 2004. Classes take place four imes a week at Deepcut Village Centre; a venue on the outskirts of Camberley town which is easily accessible and relatively congestion-free. There is ample parking on either side of the centre and a small lobby inside where parents can sit and wait while their children are in class.
The main hall is used for the classes and the meeting rooms at the centre are used for weekday enrolments. The Instructor also has an office at the centre, so everything is to hand.
As well as the Instructor, there are several assistants who help at the centre with marking, recording homework results, general guidance and class routine. The very young students who may need one-to-one supervision will sit with an assistant until they have reached the stage where they can work more independently. The Instructor sets all the work and observes, monitors and guides the students on their journey through the Kumon programmes.
Students at the centre are of various ages and abilities, with each working on their individualised Kumon programme, at their own pace. The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.
