The centre has been run by Instructor Sue Minto at the Milton Community Centre for 16 years. The Milton Community Centre is a modern building close to Tesco in Milton village.
It has two storeys and the study centre occupies the top floor which has two rooms. One room is used as a reception and sitting area for adults while they wait for the children to finish their work. The larger room is used as a quiet room for the children to complete their work. There is plenty of space for the children to concentrate on finishing their work, have it marked and correct it. At least three assistants can offer help and support so that the students at the study centre, of which there are currently around 100, can complete their individual tasks.
The community centre is surrounded by playing fields and children's play area. There is plenty of parking shared with the sports facilities and after-school club. Some of the children attend Kumon from this club which is helpful if parents are at work.
Kumon is suitable for children of all ages and abilities. The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.
