The centre was established in 2000, and has been helping the children in this area to become independent learners through the Kumon Maths and English Programmes.
The centre caters for students of all ages and abilities, from local pre-schoolers to school age students as well as adults. Students at the centre attend from far and wide, from as local as Canterbury to as far away as Ramsgate.
The study centre has eight assistants who work alongside the Instructor in supporting students with their learning, as well as administrative staff to liaise with parents. While the centre aims to foster independence in each and every child, the centre also ensure their skilled staff are there to support students at crucial stages of their development in the Kumon programmes.
The centre also has a range of books at the centre that students can read to complement their worksheet study.
The centre is conveniently located close to the university with easy access by car or public transport. There is a large car park and waiting area for parents to wait comfortably while the child studies.
The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.
