The study centre first opened its doors to students in 2002. Situated next to Tunbury School and the wide open spaces of the local park, the centre, which is based at Tunbury Hall, is easily accessible for everyone in the Medway area.
In 2011, an additional centre location was opened at Beechen Hall, Walderslade to cater for Saturday classes. This centre is located close to the Spire Alexandra Private Hospital. Students are welcome to attend either centre, which are only one-and-a-half miles apart.
Both locations are well served by local bus routes, and with the M2 motorway in close proximity, have excellent road links to the surrounding area. Ample free parking is available at both venues along with separate waiting areas for parents.
A wide range of students study at both locations, currently aged from three to 18 years old, and frequently enrol as a result of personal recommendation. All ages and abilities are welcome at the centre.
The individualised programmes enable students to progress at their own pace with the help and support of the experienced team at the centre. From the encouragement and development of early learners through to the more advanced learners and every stage in-between, you can be sure of maximising your child’s potential and receiving a warm welcome at the Chatham Walderslade Study Centre.
The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.
Please note that the Saturday class is held at: Beechen Hall, Wildfell Close, Walderslade, Chatham, Kent ME5 9RU
