The centre was established in 1994 and has the longest serving Instructor within the region.
The centre provides maths and English programmes for students of all ages and abilities with the aim of instilling confidence, so all students are able to fulfil their potential. The majority of students attend schools within the southern area of Coventry and live within those local communities.
The Earlsdon Methodist Church Hall, where the centre is located, is situated at the centre of Earlsdon, just off the high street and conveniently across the road from Earlsdon Primary school. The church hall has parking and ramp access at the entrance. Inside, there is a waiting area for parents as well as other facilities.
The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.
Kumon should not be considered a traditional tuition provider as, rather than ‘teaching’ students, we encourage them to become independent learners who feel confident in their own abilities and able to face unfamiliar work.
