The thriving centre provides an enjoyable and friendly learning atmosphere in which students are encouraged to develop their study skills and grow in confidence. It attracts students from the local neighbourhood and students who travel from East Grinstead, Horley, Copthorne and the surrounding villages.
Students of all ages and abilities are welcomed at the centre. Many of the students have been studying here for a number of years and, at present, they range in ages from four to 16 years old.
The centre is conveniently located in Pound Hill Community Centre on Worth Road, close to Pound Hill shops. It has a large hall for the children to work in and a comfortable seating area for parents and siblings to wait in while their child is in class, which each child will drop into for approximately 30-40 minutes. Free parking is available in front of the building.
Along with the Instructor, Sarah Hirst, the centre's experienced team of trained assistants are on hand to provide guidance where necessary. They work together to consistently encourage every student to become the confident, capable and achieving individual they can be.
The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.
