Since opening in 2006, the centre has become a community facility where the potential of children of all ages and abilities is developed and nurtured. Currently, pre-school, primary and secondary school aged students from schools within the greater Croydon area and beyond study at the centre.
The centre operates from the Friends Meeting House, opposite the Croydon Council Building. With parking facilities onsite and a comfortable waiting area for parents, the centre is conveniently located and easily accessible by foot, public transport or car.
There is a section for activities such as magnetic Numberboards and dot-flashcards and there is a range of books at the centre that students can read to complement their worksheet study. Supervised oral reading and spelling tests are additional class activities for students on the English programme.
At the Croydon Central Study Centre, a team of friendly, helpful, and committed staff will welcome you and students.
The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised advanced study.
