The Crumpsall Study Centre welcomes children of all ages and abilities. We want every child to maximise their potential and always aim higher in life.
Classes are held at St. Matthews Church Hall every Monday and Thursday between 4.00pm and 6.00pm. This is a large and comfortable space with a separate waiting area for parents, where they can meet, exchange information and share experiences of their children's progress through the Kumon study programmes.
For those of you who will use public transport, bus numbers 52, 88, 89, 159, 151, 294 pass the centre and Crumpsall railway station is 0.4 miles away which is an eight-minute walk to the centre. For those who travel by car there is ample parking space around the centre.
The Kumon journey for your child could begin from as early an age three years old. Each child will learn to work independently and confidently through individualised advanced study. This confidence will reflect in all areas of the child's work allowing them to excel beyond their years at school. The programmes are designed to improve your child’s academic development alongside their study skills, posture, routine, stamina and concentration.
The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes purse the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.
Kumon should not be considered a traditional tuition provider as, rather than ‘teaching’ students, we encourage them to become independent learners who feel confident in their own abilities and able to face unfamiliar work.
