Welcome to the Cumbernauld Kumon Study Centre which opened in May 2007. Our classes include students of all abilities, from pre-school through high school. We aim to develop individual potential and self-confidence. All students are encouraged to set goals and celebrate their achievements, academic and otherwise.

 

This year, around 60% of our students are studying work that is advanced for their age and a large percentage of those began Kumon because they were struggling with maths or English. For students who can't attend the centre, we are happy to run the programmes on a correspondence basis.

 

The Kumon long term focus and daily study programme provides students with transferable learning skills which will benefit them in school but also across other aspects of life. As parental support is also required on a daily basis, together with Instructor continuity, this can ensure that the key 'building bricks' for maths and English are firmly established and developed. Counting to calculus and Word building to Critique can be achieved with a daily study plan between ten to 30 minutes per day.

*The church is situated just off the Craighalbert roundabout which is up the hill from Tescos at Craigmarloch. It is next door to the new mosque in Cumbernauld.
