The Kumon Epsom Study Centre was established in 1998 and is currently located at Unity Hall of the United Reformed Church, which can be accessed via the council owned car park at Depot Road, at the back of Odeon Cinema.
Unity Hall has been the home of the Epsom Study Centre for the past 14 years, chosen for its convenient location. The hall has a foyer that serves as a waiting area for parents and the centre itself is in central Epsom which is ideally located if you are commuting from Epsom station or driving your own car as there is ample parking available for visitors on Depot Road. The high street and all its facilities such as main shopping area, restaurants, sports centre and library are just a short walk away.
Working alongside the Instructor is a team of dedicated assistants ready to make each student's class visit a positive experience. The majority of assistants are former and current Kumon students in their higher level of study.
There are many good schools, both independent and state run, within the area and some selective secondary schools in Sutton and Cheam. Many of our students attend these schools and live in the local community. We also have students from nearby towns such as Ashtead, Leatherhead, Tadworth and Banstead.
The centre caters to children of various ages and abilities, with current students ranging from 3-19 years old.
The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.
Through daily study, both at the study centre and independently at home, Kumon goes further than traditional methods of tuition by ensuring students maintain a level of development every day.
