The Kumon Greenwich Study Centre was established at the start of 2010 and is very popular with families from the surrounding areas.
The class takes place in a large hall in Greenwich South Street, easily accessible via public transport, car and by foot. There is a bus stop in front of the centre and Greenwich DLR is around a five minute walk.
There is a large comfortable, waiting room for parents and siblings to use, whilst students are studying.
Students at the centre currently range in age from three to 15 years old. Independence and concentration is encouraged within all students including the very young. Many of our students have been studying Kumon for over a year and some have been with us since we opened.
The class is a focused, calm, environment where children of all ages and abilities are welcome. The class is split into different levels with specialised assistants work alongside students, ensuring they are monitored closely.
Newly enrolled students are given more intensive support to enable them to settle in and learn the class process.
Following a free assessment, your child’s study programme will be tailored to their individual needs, ensuring your child continues to grow and achieve.
Through daily study, both at the study centre and independently at home, Kumon goes further than traditional methods of tuition by ensuring students maintain a level of development every day.
The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.
Kumon's long-term focus provides students with the self-assurance to take their learning into their own hands, increasing their motivation to succeed.
