The Kumon High Wycombe North Study Centre provides a supportive, welcoming environment for students of all ages and abilities to study the Kumon Maths and English Programmes.
Currently students at the centre range in age from three to 19 years old. The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study. The students study the worksheet based programmes at a pace that works for them.
The High Wycombe North Study Centre has an excellent reputation for building strong foundations in maths and English for our early learners and for bringing out the best in them. We also support older students by assisting them in enhancing their skills no matter their ability.
The study centre is held at the Royal Grammar School where there is a car park and a waiting room for parents to use. There are different areas within the centre for our young students and our independent learners to study. The staff at the centre are from the local grammar schools, some of whom are Kumon alumni.
The centre aims to build foundations, improve skills and ensure that each student grows in confidence and achieves their full potential.
Unlike the process of a traditional tuition provider, Kumon encourages students to take their learning into their own hands. The role of the Kumon Instructor is to provide guidance, support and encouragement, allowing the student to develop their own independent learning strategies.
