Welcome to the Knutsford Kumon study centre, which was opened in 1996 and is now a thriving and important part of the local community. Students from in and around Knutsford attend the study centre for a wide variety of reasons as the Kumon programmes cater for all ages and abilities.

Kumon is suitable for students from pre-school to A-level and from special educational needs, through average students to gifted and talented students all with the common aim of improving their numeracy, literacy and study skills.

The centre itself is based in the main hall of St Cross Parish Church and provides a quiet study area for students to work at a pace that is tailored to their individual needs. Students attend once or twice a week if convenient on a Monday and/or Thursday afternoon and are usually at the study centre for between 30 and 45 minutes. The study centre offers free, off road parking.

We currently have students aged from three to 16 years who are all learning how to learn, improving their confidence and concentration and aiming to reach their full potential. Our longest standing student has been studying Kumon for over ten years and is excelling in both the maths and English programmes.
