The study centre was established in 2012 and has since then helped many students to pursue their potential and develop their ability.
The centre is based at Hockwell Ring Community Centre, Mayne Avenue which is in a residential area and close to local schools. There is car park facility for parents that has space for over 20 cars and there is also a well-equipped waiting area for parents while their child is in class.
The youngest child at the centre is currently three years old and the oldest is 17 years old, however the study centre welcomes children of all ages and abilities. Over half of the students at the centre study both maths and the English programme with the rest studying one of the programmes.
The centre has a team of eight well trained assistants on hand to support the students’ development, and each assistant is designated to a table during class.
The centre has a range of books that students can read to complement their worksheet study. Observations of students are taking regularly to enhance support of them.
The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.
