Welcome to the Merton Park Kumon study centre, which offers individualised maths and English support.
Kumon's long-term focus allows children to advance as far as they can, regardless of their age, ability or school grade. Through this learning process children are able to develop self assurance and the transferable independent learning skills to realise their potential through out school life and beyond.
Students on the maths programme develop mental agility, accuracy, speed and study pure maths from pre-school to university level covering advanced algebra and calculus without the use of calculators.
Kumon English is a reading comprehension programme and imparts a wealth of information from prehistoric periods to the latest modern technological discoveries, whilst developing basic reading, spelling and language skills necessary for eventual comprehension of advanced texts and summarisation.
The primary message to those enrolling at our study centre is that "solid foundation in maths and reading" is merely the icing on the cake. The ultimate benefit is to help your child to discover his/her greatest potential.
