We develop concentration and build confidence by tailoring the programme to each individual child. We aim to develop your child's full potential and help your child become a self-learner. Students study at their own pace on work that matches their ability by completing a 15-20 minutes worksheet every day and attending a class once a week, on a Monday(4.00pm-6.00pm) or Saturday (10.00am –12.00pm).

We operate on a 'DROP IN' basis - you call when it is convenient for you, during opening hours. Each student learns rapidly to work independently and this raises their self-confidence and their self-esteem.

With Kumon study your child will:
• Work at a pace that is tailored to their individual needs
• develop invaluable study skills and concentration
• establish a positive attitude to study
Many local teachers and other professionals send their own children to our centre, and we are recommended by teachers and educational psychologists.
Our exceptional approach gives your child:
• a solid foundation for academic success
• confidence to take on new challenges
• options in school and life that they may not otherwise have had
• strength of character to overcome obstacles

Our youngest child is three years of age and our oldest being 16. Many of the children have been with the centre for several years, having grown to work independently and confidently. This confidence is reflected in all the areas of the child's work, both at school and outside. It has enabled many of the children to reach and stay in the top sets at school.
