The centre is located at the Romsey Secondary School and there is extensive free parking available. Students can drop into the centre during class times at a time convenient to families.
The class is structured to suit every student's learning. Within the centre, while work is being marked the students are asked to get a reading book to continue their studies and there is a dedicated reading assistant available to assist the younger readers. In addition, there is a board game section for the younger maths students, which allows them to develop their number sequences in an enjoyable environment.
Students at the centre are currently of both primary and secondary school ages. However, Kumon is suitable for all ages and abilities. Young students at the centre have the comfort of working on smaller tables and chairs with trained dedicated assistants to nurture and guide their studies. There is a waiting room where parents and siblings can wait in comfort whilst students are in class.
Students see the Instructor for nurturing guidance and to talk about their progress, goals, and to gain feedback and praise for their achievements. Many students have already advanced beyond their school level.
The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.
