Welcome to the Kumon Stoke Newington maths and English study centre, which was opened in August 2005, and is now a thriving and important part of the local community. The majority of our students live in the local area and attend local schools. My study centre has a friendly club atmosphere and a dedicated team is on hand to assist maths and English students if required. Almost 50% of my current students are studying work that is advanced for their age.
At the Kumon Stoke Newington centre I have students of all ages and abilities; at present my youngest student is four years old and my oldest student is 17. My longest standing student has attended the centre since the day it opened.
Many local teachers and other education professionals send their own children to my centre. Teachers and educational psychologists recommend us. Existing parents recommend us to friends and relations, and existing Kumon children even suggest that their school friends should join!
If you decide to proceed and enrol your child in either the maths or English programme, I shall arrange an individual meeting to assess your child's current ability in maths and English. I always seek to understand more about your individual situation and your child's needs. After explaining exactly what is involved when studying Kumon, together we shall agree study goals for your child.
