Welcome to the Sudbury Kumon study centre. The centre started in Autumn 2006 and is conveniently located at Sudbury Methodist Church, at the Junction of Harrow Road and Watford Road in Sudbury Town. It has plenty of parking and is also on the 92 Bus Route. The bus stop is situated opposite the Church. The location is also convenient for children who are attending schools in Sudbury Town, and for those living in and around the Wembley area.

The centre caters for maths and English study for children of all ages ranging from pre-school to adults and you have the option to choose either or both subjects.

The centre is open three times a week giving added flexibility for working parents and children who are busy with after-school activities during the week.
The Kumon study program provides a structured learning system which enables students to start from a comfortable position, gradually building up to a solid foundation, enabling them to become self learners. It is tailored for each individual student's needs and is a long term programme. It requires time and patience and with sufficient practice, guidance and regular feedback, children will develop study skills, and establish a positive attitude to study. We do not only provide academic proficiency in Maths & English, but also the essential study skills for life.

Children are not 'taught' using the traditional methods. We prepare and train them to learn 'how to learn' and to learn 'how to succeed'. We do this with ongoing guidance and by encouraging students to tackle problems and tasks on their own, so that they become independent learners.
