The Taunton Study Centre was established in 1995 at St George’s Roman Catholic Centre community hall where it is still located today.
The centre has a large study area which allows students to focus on their work; a dedicated reading space where students can enjoy recommended books or practise on the number games; and assistants on hand to provide instant feedback on student’s work.
Parents can wait in their own waiting area, read the monthly class newsletter and book reviews, or chat to fellow Kumon parents whilst their child works in class. The study centre offers seven car parking spaces and is very close to the town centre.
The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study. Students at the centre are currently aged from six to 15 years old. The class is structured to support all ages by developing each pupil’s confidence, independence and their ability to self-learn.
Through daily study, both at the study centre and independently at home, Kumon goes further than traditional methods of tuition by ensuring students maintain a level of development every day.
Enrolments for the centre take place on Monday and Thursday evenings. The Instructor can make home visits from 6pm onwards. To book an enrolment or for more information, please contact the Instructor.
