The centre has been open since 2011 and is situated in close proximity to the Weybridge town centre at the Weybridge Methodist Church Hall. The centre is easy to find, and has free parking available and a waiting area for Kumon families.
The majority of students at the centre reside in Weybridge but the rest come from the surrounding areas. The current ages of students at the centre range from four to 16 years old, although the programmes are for all ages and abilities. The Kumon programmes will help your child to master maths and English skills, develop excellent concentration and study habits, build lasting confidence and self-belief and improve their all-round academic achievement.
Staff at the centre value each student’s uniqueness and are constantly looking for ways to improve individual learning habits. All six members of staff are highly trained to provide assistance where required and support your child from the beginning to settle into work and develop at their own pace to achieve independence.
Unlike the process of a traditional tuition provider, Kumon encourages students to take their learning into their own hands. The role of the Kumon Instructor is to provide guidance, support and encouragement, allowing the student to develop their own independent learning strategies.
The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.
