The study centre is located at Ditton Community Centre which is a well known and busy centre, with many activities for children. The study centre is in a quiet part of the community centre, in a spacious, well-equipped room, providing a great learning environment. You can be sure of a warm welcome and a comfortable environment for parents/guardians and students.
There is full disabled access and plenty of parking space. For parents and guardians, the waiting area in reception has seating, toilets, a drinks machine and books to keep your other children occupied.
Kumon programmes are suitable for all ages and abilities. The current students at the study centre are from three to 14 years old and those who attend the centre come from far and wide; from local areas such as Widnes and Runcorn and as far as Gateacre. The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.
There are currently four assistants to help in the classroom; three females and one male. One of the assistants is also currently a student. All are friendly, approachable and child focused, helping the Instructor Jennie Harrison to create an environment which supports student progress.
Through daily study, both at the study centre and independently at home, Kumon goes further than traditional methods of tuition by ensuring students maintain a level of development every day.
