The Kumon Maths and English Study Programmes offer what traditional tuition gives to your child and more. Kumon goes one step further by helping each child develop self-learning skills, enabling them to tackle challenging work without reliance on a teacher. Our aim is to help any child of any ability to progress and develop a curiosity and love for learning.
Your local Instructor will set work for your child at just the right level, enabling them to build confidence in their abilities and progress their maths and English skills in small, manageable steps through daily study. They will visit their local study centre up to twice a week for sessions with their Instructor. This allows the Instructor to tailor and adapt each child’s study plan to their abilities, through observing their progress and fluency at each level. Our study programmes are individualised to each child to help them establish strong learning foundations and a positive learning experience, to build skills and confidence for their future.

My name is Darshini Pullan and I will be your child's Instructor. I have over ten years of experience as an Early Childhood Educator. I graduated with a bachelor's degree and also completed training as an Instructor in London. I have several years of experience working with children of all ages. I also enjoy spending time reading and exercising. I enjoy learning and speaking new languages and speak five languages currently.
As a parent of two daughters, I realise the need for an education which will prepare my children for secondary school and beyond. I have a strong belief that Kumon will provide that preparation. The concern and focus that I give to my children, will be the same I will give to your child to ensure that they reach their full potential in their learning.
My philosophy for learning is that each child is unique, and each child learns in a different way. One of my jobs as an Instructor is to help your child discover his or her individuality and work alongside them to maximize their potential. I believe in hands-on experiences, learning creatively and learning though practice.
