About this centre

The centre was established in 1995 and is well attended by students aged two years and upwards, of all abilities and from a wide variety of local schools including home-schooled children. The centre follows the Kumon Method of Learning to guide students through each new academic challenge they face as they progress through their individualised Kumon programmes while developing their abilities, and studying material beyond school-grade level.

The dedication to achieving this aim for every student at the Mill Hill Broadway Study Centre is demonstrated by the quality and experience of the team of assistants, who have a combined experience of over 35 years with Kumon.

At Kumon we encourage all students regardless of their ability to become independent learners who are confident and able to face unfamiliar work. The unique Kumon maths and English programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study.

My name is Rohini Singh and I have been the Instructor at the Mill Hill Broadway Study Centre since 2012.

Having been a Kumon parent at the centre for seven years prior to this, and having experienced the benefits of the Kumon programmes with my own daughter, I am highly motivated and dedicated to continuing my journey with Kumon by guiding your child to realise their full potential on the Kumon programmes at school and beyond.

My experience as a Kumon parent has taught me the importance of praise and encouragement in supporting a child through a long-term programme of learning. I combine this with an unwavering focus on each individual student both during class; where my highly experienced team of assistants and I closely observe each child, and carefully set work at the right level of study in order to pursue their potential and achieve the greatest results in the shortest possible amount of time.

I actively encourage children to discuss their individual work and academic goals with me, and I strive to provide relevant feedback to children and their parents to maximise the development of each student.

I endeavour to make myself available to answer any questions and discuss any details of the programme with parents.
