From 1 June 2026, participating Kumon study centres are offering Free Registration – making now the ideal time to get started.

As the school year approaches its final term, many parents naturally begin reflecting on their child's progress. Has their confidence grown this year? Are they enjoying learning and feeling capable in the classroom? Or are small gaps in understanding beginning to affect their confidence and ability to keep up?

Personalised learning from day one

Parents begin by booking a free assessment at their local participating Kumon study centre. This initial meeting is provided free of charge and helps the Instructor understand your child's current ability and recommend an appropriate starting point.

During the assessment, the Instructor will:

• Assess your child's current maths and/or English ability
• Identify strengths and areas for development
• Recommend an individualised study plan tailored to your child

Students begin at their just-right level to build confidence first, before advancing in small, manageable steps. This approach develops secure foundations, strong study habits, and long-term academic resilience.

If you decide to enrol your child for regular Kumon classes and home study, the usual one-off registration fee will be waived until 30 June 2026 as part of our Free Registration offer.

Paper worksheets or KUMON CONNECT

At selected centres, families can choose KUMON CONNECT – our digital study option. Using a tablet and stylus, students complete the same carefully structured worksheets while maintaining the cognitive benefits of handwriting.
