My name is Jyoti Rajani and I am the Kumon Instructor at the Ashford North Study Centre.
I have 16 years of Kumon experience in that I have supported my two children with their Kumon studies since 1997 and am delighted to say that they have excelled at school and university. With this first-hand experience of being a Kumon parent I decided to become a fully qualified Kumon Instructor and opened my centre.
I graduated with a degree in Accountancy and worked in practice for three years. Thereafter, I ran my own business successfully for 15 years before becoming an Instructor. I brought together my business experience, organisational skills and my personal experience as a Kumon parent and opened a brand new centre.
As a Kumon Instructor I have an exciting opportunity to work with children and parents who are totally committed to improve not only their educational experience, but to give them the best possible chance to be happy and successful in life. I understand that you want the best for your children, so it would be my privilege to support you and your family on their Kumon journey.
I have experience of working with students of all ages and abilities and I am committed to helping each child achieve their full potential. My aim is to provide a friendly and productive study centre which allows children to work at an appropriate pace suitable for them and also to confidently progress through an individually set programme of study.
The Kumon maths and English programmes are well structured and I like the flexibility of being able to tailor the programmes to the needs of each individual child. I take pride in seeing my students achieve success and develop the confidence to take on new challenges.
I believe that it is essential for parents to be involved in their child's education. To this end, I provide parents with regular feedback about their child's progress to date and long term goals. Equally feedback from parents such as hearing that their children are moving into higher levels or are ahead of their peer group at school is rewarding and certainly motivates me.
I look forward to welcoming you to my centre.
