The Kumon Bebington Instructor: Helen Goodbody

I came to Kumon as a concerned parent of primary-school-aged twins. They were the youngest in their year at school and needed a bit of a nudge to give them increased confidence in both maths and English. I soon realised what a fantastic programme Kumon is and decided to apply to train to be a Kumon Instructor in the Bebington area. Kumon has had an enormous impact on my family and I am always looking to share the same success with others.

 

My previous career was in buying for major retailers and so I understand the real need for confident maths and communication skills. Working with children is the most satisfying job I have had and I am very lucky to be able to instruct using such an effective and rigorous programme.

 

Kumon gives me the opportunity to support many families, building up students' confidence and ability. I am glad to have had many success stories which hopefully have a long-term effect on the students I have been privileged enough to work with.
