Meet the students

Mrs Kaur says:
"We enrolled Daveena on the Kumon maths and English programmes mid May 2008 at the age of six. We have noticed a significant difference in her confidence at school not only in these two subjects but other subjects also. Prior to Kumon, Daveena was not very motivated and lacked confidence especially in maths, but Kumon has totally transformed her self belief and confidence in all aspects. She is currently working beyond her school level and continues to challenge herself to advance to the next level."

 

Daveena, aged nine, says:
"Kumon has helped me a lot. I was not very good at maths at school, but now I am ahead of what I do. I had a mental maths test at school and I beat the cleverest boy by three minutes and I also got all my questions right. I enjoy my Kumon work and look forward to getting to the next level."
 

Rajan Sangha, aged six, says:

Unlike some of the other extra curriculum activities we have tried, it is never a struggle to get him to attend Kumon classes and he is eager to do his daily worksheets. Mr & Mrs Olajide, Kumon parents, says:

"Our daughter Tobi has been on the maths programme for just over a year. We are happy with her progress and the confidence she has developed. She later enrolled on the English programme, having taken advantage of the two-week Free Trial offer, as we felt she was able to cope with the two subjects.

 

The English programme has exposed her to a variety of literature and her understanding is also being tested in a wider range of fun and challenging questions. As parents we are of the opinion that Kumon is of great benefit to our daughter as it gives simple daily tasks appropriate for her level.

Aditya And Tanya's Mum says:

"My children have been going to Kumon for the last three years. Aditya is in Year six and Tanya is in Year three. The reason to let my kids join Kumon was mainly to inculcate a sense of discipline in doing their homework everyday. Of course, it has helped immensely to develop their mental mathematics and English literary skills. As a result, maths is fun for them to do and their English vocabulary is becoming strong as well.

 

Aditya had sat competitive exams for entry in Secondary School this year. He did not find it hard at all because of his well developed basic maths and English skills. He is also one among the best students in his school as a result of Kumon. He has developed a sense of responsibility by finishing their assignments in Kumon. Over all, I and my husband are very happy that we took a very good decision for our kids to join Kumon.

 

Over the last few months, my kids have joined Blakenhall Kumon Study Centre managed by Mr Kully Bhangu. I am very satisfied with the methods and efforts that Mr. Bhangu puts in to improve the maths and English skills in my children. He puts in a very personal effort in bringing out the best in his students. He has a good number of assistants to help him. He also keeps the parents involved by giving regular feedback regarding the progress the kids are making."
 

Rinaypal Singh Gill, aged seven, says: 
"I joined Kumon when I was five years old. I find Kumon very interesting and like doing the worksheets quickly and accurately so that I can move to higher levels.
At school I find maths quite easy and I finish my work faster than others in my class. Kumon English has improved my reading skills and my handwriting has become neater. I do all my work with concentration. I enjoy getting certificates and stickers for my good work at Kumon. I feel more confident at school too."

Cameron's mother, Mrs Grewal says:
