Meet the Instructor
A warm welcome from us all at the Bourne Kumon centre, I am happy that you have taken the time to browse our web site. I would like to introduce myself, my name is Rachel Leighton and I am the Kumon Instructor here at the centre. I have three assistants who help with the programme.
There is a great feeling of support and friendliness at our centre. We have created an environment here where children feel, safe, happy and confident to work and achieve their best results.
The age ranges of children that can benefit from the programme are 3 years of age upwards to sixth form/university level. The programme provides learning support in both Maths and English that will compliment the school curriculum. The worksheets provided to the children will be tailored at a level and pace that will fit the individual child's needs.
Kumon has over 50 years experience of helping young people to succeed. Kumon's long-term approach provides children with self-confidence and transferable study skills to realise their potential throughout school and adult life.
