Brighton Central Instructor: Julia Champness-Brooks

Having run the Brighton Central Study Centre for almost seven years, I've had the pleasure and satisfaction of watching hundreds of children reach their potential with the help of the Kumon Method.

 
My involvement with Kumon started when my daughter became a Kumon student. I was hugely impressed by the progress she made and the speed with which this impacted positively on her school work.

 
Enabling students to rehearse and eventually master literacy and numeracy via the Kumon Method seems to have had some interesting side effects, not least on confidence and ability to study. It is no coincidence, I believe, that so many of my students now excel in many other areas, not least music and sport.

 

I am assisted in class by local university students and former Kumon students. My team provide a calm and supportive environment in which children of all ages can complete their prescribed work.
