Similiar to other tuition providers, the Kumon programmes will develop a child’s academic abilities in maths and English; however, Kumon’s individualised approach also enables them to reach their full potential by becoming an confident, independent learner with study skills that support them at school, college, university and beyond.
Your child’s free assessment will help to determine an appropriate starting point and preliminary study plan. Progress through the programmes is tailored to individual need, ensuring each student continues to grow and achieve.
In addition to studying an appropriate amount of work at home on a daily basis, your child will also attend the study centre up to twice a week.
Whether from state or independent schools, Kumon study boosts children's confidence in maths and English, and improves their concentration and self-esteem. Its long-term focus provides children with the self-assurance to take their learning into their own hands, increasing their motivation to succeed.
The Kumon Broadstairs Study Centre welcomes students of all ages and abilities and is based at the Broadstairs Campus of Canterbury Christchurch University. Staff at the centre are experienced at supporting children and safeguarding checks are in place to ensure suitability to work with children.
