"Kumon study is the best thing I have ever done for my child Rohan. ...learning Kumon over the last 3 years Rohan has been able to think faster and has become more confident in general and progressed very well in maths."
Mrs Haldankar, mother of Rohan (aged 10), Whetstone study centre

About the centre

There has been a Kumon centre in Canterbury for over 10 years helping the children in this area to develop into independent learners and improve their maths and English skills. I took over the Canterbury centre in November 2009.

Developing students' ability to the maximum is fundamental to what we aim to do at Faversham and Canterbury study centres, because by changing students' abilities, they can change their lives.

As parents we want our children to have options in their lives. By seeing our children's learning journey through to its end, through even the toughest of times, we can give them more options in life.

In 2010, it is Kumon's vision to realise for our students the True Value of Kumon, so how do we realise the True Value of Kumon? We aim to support children to study unfamiliar concepts by self-learning, thus developing their confidence and skills to become independent learners. By observing students already on this path we can learn techniques that will help all students improve. To meet some of the students already on their journey to self-learning, please go to the Meet the Students page.
