"I believe Kumon is the reason why my maths has improved, and without it I wouldn't have achieved an A in my GCSE maths and wouldn't have even attempted A-level!"
Faye Liversage (aged 17), Kumon maths completer

Meet the students

meetthestudentcanterburyKris Warner, Canterbury's first English Completer

I started the Kumon programme at Faversham Kumon Centre when I was six.  Karen, the head assistant and Sue Hunt, my first Kumon Instructor helped me out a lot. My mum also supported me at home and made me see that Kumon was there to build my confidence and help me overcome any difficulties.

Kumon gives you rules to follow which means you can tackle maths and English using the right method to get the right result which makes both subjects more enjoyable.

Kumon has also made me more organised which will definitely help when I go into sixth form and university.  I am hoping to study Design and Technology, Product Design, ICT and A Level Maths.  I have chosen Maths because I have grown more confident because of my Kumon study.

Kumon English has helped me structure my CV and understand how to craft covering letters for successful job applications. Persevering with Kumon and receiving my Completer's Award will also look good on my CV.

I would like to say a huge thank you to Karen who gave me so much support whilst on the English programme.  Thank you also to Gaby who I met in my fifth year at Faversham when she became my new Instructor and supports me with maths.

All of you who read this can reap the rewards of Kumon as I am so just keep going.
