About the centre

Class time is when I get to talk to the students about their progress, and I give them the new work that is just right for their level of ability.

Upon arrival your child will collect their class folder, which contains the day's class work and homework for the following few days, and will hand in their homework to be recorded.

Your child will then complete their work in class independently before having it marked. Children are tested on their reading skills or mental arithmetic before collecting their work. If necessary your child will have to make some corrections on their own esteem before talking to me about their learning.

Typically your child will be in the centre for approximately 30 minutes before leaving with enough homework to last them until the next class visit.
