Welcome to the Currie study centre, which provides maths and English programmes for students of all ages and abilities. The centre caters to students of all ages and abilities living in Juniper Green, Wester Hailes, Currie, Balerno, Colinton, Craiglockhart and surrounding areas like Kirknewton etc.
At the enrollment stage, a personalised long term study projection and target setting will be done for every child and the progress will be measured and monitored against these projections. This will enable every child an opportunity to start easy, learn and develop skills at their own pace and at the same time keep an eye on the goals that are set for them to achieve.
The maths programme is tailored to develop the numeracy skills of the students as well as improve concentration, mental agility, accuracy and fluency.
The English programme focuses on reading comprehension skills, but also builds skills in grammar, punctuation, vocabulary and spelling, as well as fostering a love of reading.
Both programmes compliment school work, help students raise their full potential and build skills that last a lifetime.
