"Kumon is not always fun because it is challenging, but it is always successful provided parent, Instructor and student work in partnership."
Marie Gibb, Correspondence Instructor

About the centre

The Frome Study Centre is open two afternoons a week. Parking is available and there is a waiting area, with refreshments and magazines.

At the Centre
Students come to the study centre once or twice a week, on the day that is most convenient for them, at any time during opening hours.

Class focuses on observation, discussion and feedback with the Instructor. It is a chance to review progress, set targets and look ahead to future work. It is centers on the individual student, on what they want to achieve and how they will get there.

Students are guided to develop their confidence and ability to work ahead of school curriculum level and towards independent study.

Younger students on the early levels of the programmes will be supported throughout class by either the Instructor or an assistant.

At home
Students will complete a manageable amount of daily work at home, spending around 10 – 20 minutes studying per day. An answer book will be provided for home marking.

Daily study and marking will:

• Ensure students learn from their corrections, before moving on to the next day's work.
• Encourage your child to adopt good study habits.
• Keep you involved and informed of your child's progress.
