Ritchie's Story
Ritchie has been studying Kumon maths for seven years, having started when he was 6 years old. Ritchie has worked very hard throughout and is now becoming very confident with algebra. He has been studying Kumon English for four and a half years and he has excelled in this too. Taking up the second subject did not adversely affect his maths work, in fact, if anything it seemed to boost his motivation. He has coped well with studying both subjects while at secondary school.
Ritchie is a member of the G-league in both subjects, which recognises his achievements and perseverance. One special quality which has helped Ritchie to achieve is that he never thinks of giving up and he is always willing to work on any problems that occur so that he can master them and move on to the next topic.
