The Kumon Kingston North Study Centre was established in 2002 and provides supplementary maths and English programmes. The students at the centre range from pre-schoolers to secondary school students and we welcome children of all ages and abilities, whether they require further support to succeed academically, or are seeking an additional challenge so they can fulfil their potential.
On Tuesdays and Fridays the study centre is based at The Hawker Centre on Lower Ham Road (KT2 5BH), which is a convenient North Kingston location. It is easily accessible by foot, public transport or car, and there is disabled access, as well as ample free parking. There is also a cafe and a soft play area in which families can wait.
On Saturdays the centre is based at Grey Court School on Ham Street (TW10 7HN). Here we have well-appointed classrooms, toilets, a waiting area for children and parents, and on-site parking set aside for the use of our parents.
Overseen by the Instructor, Sam, six assistants support the students' development. The team includes bright, committed students and graduates, all with excellent experience. One staff member is in charge of early learners and newly enrolled students, providing one-to-one support in developing children's pencil skills, posture, momentum and stamina, and providing a sound foundation at the start of their Kumon journey.
The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child by developing confident, independent learners through individualised, advanced study. Through daily study, both at the study centre and independently at home, Kumon goes further than traditional methods of tuition by ensuring students maintain a level of development every day.
