"I believe Kumon is the reason why my maths has improved, and without it I wouldn't have achieved an A in my GCSE maths and wouldn't have even attempted A-level!"

I have been a primary school teacher for many years in Hertfordshire and Brighton, teaching the National Curriculum in Literacy and Mathematics since it was introduced in the '80s; initially full time, and latterly part time while running the Kumon classes. Since Sept 05 I have devoted all my teaching time to the Kumon students. It is a joy to see their progress, and know that the system works.
StaffingI am assisted in class by a number of helpers. The marking assistants have mostly been Kumon students. The team enjoys providing the quiet and efficient work space for students of all ages to do their work in class on Mondays and Tuesdays. Of course all adults are CRB checked, and younger assistants supervised and trained in their tasks. |
