"Kumon study is the best thing I have ever done for my child Rohan. ...learning Kumon over the last 3 years Rohan has been able to think faster and has become more confident in general and progressed very well in maths."

Students can attend twice a week, and although many do, quite a few only attend once due to distance or other out of school commitments.
There are no set arrival times – children arrive at any convenient time on their particular day(s) and usually stay for about 20 minutes to half an hour per subject.
We value the individual in Kumon there is no group work and every child works at their own level and pace. Once each student has completed their written and oral work (reading or mental maths) there are some supplementary activities, such as numberboards, and also some children's books to read whilst students are waiting for their work to be marked, or for a parent to collect them.
All work is timed – if it's not timed, it's not Kumon! We test mental maths skills and set achievable challenges. All English students read a short passage aloud before starting their written work. Comprehension and spelling, for example, can be checked at this point. Once the student has completed their work for the day, they see me for appropriate feedback and praise. |
