Meet the Instructor
My name is Jaishree (Jay) Popat and I have been running the Stanmore Centre since 1995. Prior to becoming an instructor, I was a Kumon Parent and later became an assistant at the centre where my children were studying . Seeing how Kumon was benefiting my two children, I was keen to pass this on to other children in the local community and became an instructor in Stanmore. Being a Maths graduate, I knew that I would have no problem with children who would stay on to study high levels maths.
I am currently a member of the Kumon Europe and Africa Vision Club, which is a group of invited Instructors to explore new ways to help Kumon students expand their skills. In addition my centre has also been endorsed for meeting all Kumon Quality Standards.
